Selection
The international exhibition of Dak’Art 2010 is composed :
by 28 artists (26 applications) selected by 5 curators during the official selection (in between 400 candidacies).
by recent works of 9 artists, laureats of the great prize of Président Léopold S. Senghor in former editions, since 1992 to 2008.
Curators of Dak’art 2010 are Kunlé Filani , Marylin Martin , Marème Malong Samb , Sylvain Sankalé , Rachida Triki.
They had to submit alist of 7 artists who did not particpate yet to the biennale, chosen between 400 portfolios of application oresulting of personal choices .
28 artists has been selected, 18 men and 10 women representing 16 countries of Africa.
