Pape Armand Boye est un musicien et producteur sénégalais qui vivait à New York aux États-Unis et qui s’est fraîchement installé à Dakar au Sénégal. Il est connu pour ses compositions originales et son jeu de guitare technique. Il a été qualifié par le journal allemand Lo’ Nam de « guitariste béni ». Il a été dans les années 90 un précurseur muscical avec son frère Badu au sein du groupe Tama. Pape séjournera par la suite en Allemagne et s’enrichira de plusieurs collaborations : Tim Spohn (St Pauli Jazz Kapelle), Tim Grunwald (Rantanplan), Axel Ruhland (Anett Louisian)., Mojo the cinematic du célèbre groupe new Yorkais Dujeous, Idan Raichel la pop star israélienne, le musicien classique australien Will Martina, le célèbre Clifton Hyde (Blue Man Group), Henry Hirsch ( Lenny Kravitz) et Chris Theis ( Shakira, DMX, Laureen Hill etc.).
Pape Armand Boye is a Senegalese musician and producer who used to live in New York, United States and who recently moved to Dakar, Senegal. He is known for his original compositions and his technical guitar playing. He was described by the German newspaper Lo’ Nam as a « blessed guitarist ».In the 90s, he was a musical precursor with his brother Badu in the group Tama.
