Nifemi Marcus Bello est un designer industriel et artiste basé à Lagos. Après avoir obtenu son diplôme en design de produit à l’Université de Leeds, il a fondé le studio nmbello en 2017. Son travail, axé sur la recherche, explore les matériaux, les systèmes de production, le travail, les infrastructures et les économies du quotidien. Ses œuvres font partie des collections de grandes institutions, notamment le MoMA, le Brooklyn Museum et le Design Museum de Londres. En 2022, il a remporté le Hublot Design Prize et, en 2025, il reçoit une mention spéciale lors du Loewe Craft Prize pour sa contribution au design et à l’artisanat contemporains.
