Mohammed Laouli vit entre Marseille, Stuttgart et Salé. Il centre sa démarche artistique sur l’exploration des dynamiques sociales, privilégiant les interventions dans l’espace public. Adoptant une posture introspective et critique, il analyse les mécanismes de pouvoir et les structures socioculturelles, remettant en question les représentations hégémoniques. Sa pratique multidisciplinaire — vidéo, sculpture, photographie, dessin et peinture — vise à élucider les tensions des expériences individuelles et collectives. Il porte une attention particulière aux phénomènes d’exil et d’exclusion sociale. Son projet actuel se nourrit de multiples références et contextes politiques liés aux mécanismes de domination, aux représentations hégémoniques ainsi qu’aux notions de perte, d’injustice spatiale et d’aliénation.
Mohammed Laouli lives between Marseille, Stuttgart, and Salé. He centres his artistic approach on the exploration of social dynamics, favouring interventions in public space. Adopting an introspective and critical stance, he analyses mechanisms of power and sociocultural structures, questioning hegemonic representations. His multidisciplinary practice (video, sculpture, photography, drawing, and painting) seeks to shed light on the tensions of individual and collective experiences. He pays particular attention to the phenomena of exile and social exclusion. His current project draws on multiple references and political contexts linked to mechanisms of domination, to hegemonic representations, and to notions of loss, spatial injustice, and alienation.
