Sabrina Da Silva Medeiros (born in 1998 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian interdisciplinary artist based in France since 2016. A graduate of the École nationale supérieure d’arts de Paris-Cergy (ENSAPC) in 2024, she went on to a post-diploma programme at the ENSBA Lyon. Her practice spans painting, sculpture, installation, performance, and writing. She works to give new meaning to intimate, collective, and territorial memories in the face of colonial processes of erasure in Brazil, drawing in particular on the south of São Paulo, where she grew up near the Billings Reservoir. Residues, textiles, earth, ash, oil paint, and medicinal plants form a material vocabulary where rituals, urban rhythms, ecologies, and ancestral knowledge meet.
