Laila Gohar is a New York–based artist and creative director whose work sits at the intersection of food, design, and performance. Known for transforming edible materials into sculptural compositions, she approaches food as both medium and message – enchanting, tactile, and visually driven. Gohar works to cultivate a sense of wonder, drawing people closer to their inner child, and, in turn, to one another. Children begin exploring the world with their mouths. Taste connects flavors to memory, emotion, and culture as we move from one stage of life to the next.
