Abdi Farah commence sa formation artistique au Carver Center for Arts and Technology à Towson, Maryland. Farah a obtenu son baccalauréat à l’Université de Pennsylvanie en 2009 avec mention. Farah a eu la chance d’exposer des œuvres d’art à travers le pays et à l’international dans des institutions telles que : le Baltimore Museum of Art, Baltimore, Maryland ; la Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. ; la collection Margulies, Miami, Floride ; L’Institut des Universités Américaines d’Aix En Provence, France ; le Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn, New York ; le Ogden Museum of Southern Art, La Nouvelle-Orléans, Louisiane ; et le Contemporary Art Center, La Nouvelle-Orléans, Louisiane.

 

Abdi Farah began his art education at the Carver Center for Arts and Technology in Towson, Maryland. Farah received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009, graduating with honors. Farah has been fortunate to exhibit art across the country and internationally at institutions including: the Baltimore Museum of Art, Baltimore, Maryland; the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.; the Margulies Collection, Miami, Florida; The Institute for American Universities in Aix En Provence, France; the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn, New York; the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, New Orleans, Louisiana; and the Contemporary Art Center, New Orleans, Louisiana.
