Laurence Bonvin est une artiste travaillant depuis de nombreuses années autour de la photographie, et plus récemment la vidéo. Laurence Bonvin est née en Suisse et a étudié à Arles, France, au sein de l’École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie. Son travail, basé sur une importante recherche documentaire, s’intéresse à la transformation des périphéries urbaines, l’évolution du paysage social et naturel, la ségrégation, le déplacement des populations et l’architecture du pouvoir.
Laurence Bonvin is an artist working in photography and more recently with video. Bonvin was born in Switzerland and studied in Arles, France at the National School for Photography. Her practice, which has a strong documentary base, has been centered on the transformations of urban peripheries, of natural and social landscapes, on segregation, human displacements and architecture of power.
