EZEMA, Ngozi – NG – Expo IN

Ngozi-Omeje Ezema est diplômée de l’Université du Nigeria, Nsukka, en 2005, au département des beaux-arts appliqués. Elle a également obtenu une maîtrise en beaux-arts dans la même institution. Elle est employée dans son Alma Mater pour enseigner la céramique depuis mai 2009. Jusqu’à présent, elle a présenté deux expositions personnelles majeures – Connecting Deep au Centre for Contemporary Art, Lagos, 2018, et Boundless Vases à la galerie Ko, Lagos, 2021. Ngozi-Omeje a également participé à plusieurs résidences, ateliers et expositions internationales : Aftershave International – Triangle Art Trust, Nigeria, 2008, Art in the Dailies – Goethe Institute, Ghana, 2009, Art in Public Space on Ecology – Goethe Institute, Nigeria, 2009, Sevshoon Art Centre, Seattle, USA, 2010, CCA Lagos/Triangle International Artist, Nigeria, 2010, AF!R!KA ARTFEST – Africa 2020, France, 2021. En outre, elle a participé à de nombreuses biennales et foires : Le Pinceau De L’Intégration – Biennale Off Dakar, Sénégal, 2016, Première Biennale Internationale en Chine Centrale, 2016, 60ème Prix Biennale de Faenza Italie, 2018, Biennale de Céramique de Corée – Centre Mondial de Céramique d’Incheon, et Cheongju Craft Biennale, 2019, Corée du Sud respectivement, Biennale de la Sculpture Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, 2021 et First West African Art Fair -ART X, Lagos, 2016, Saatchi START Art Fair 2018, West African Art Fair -ART X, 2019.

Ngozi-Omeje Ezema graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 2005, Department of Fine Applied Arts. She also obtained her Masters of Fine Arts in the same Institution. She has been employed in her Alma Mater to teach Ceramics since May 2009. Thus far, she has had two major solo shows – Connecting Deep at the Centre for Contemporary Art, Lagos, 2018, and Boundless Vases in Ko gallery, Lagos, 2021.
