Djibril Goudiaby est un artiste pluridisciplinaire. Acteur, metteur en scène de la célèbre compagnie Casamançaise Bou-Saana créée en 1993, Djibril Goudiaby est aussi un sculpteur qui poursuit sa réflexion sur scène par un travail plastique qui ne départ pas de sa conviction profonde : « Ce qui m’intéresse est comment moi-même, en tant qu’Africain, je me regarde » dit-il. Il met en œuvre des sculptures géantes faites d’éléments récupérés, considérés comme morts auxquels il donne une seconde vie. Il porte un message pour la protection de l’environnement et sur les projections positives futures de l’homme.
Djibril Goudiaby is a multidisciplinary artist. Actor, director of the famous Casamance company Bou-Saana created in 1993, Djibril Goudiaby is also a sculptor who pursues his reflection on stage through a plastic work that does not depart from his deep conviction: « What interests me is how I, as an African, look at myself » he says.
