Nashilongweshipwe Mushaandja est un artiste, éducateur et écrivain qui s’intéresse, dans sa pratique et ses recherches, aux archives matérielles et spatiales dans la formation des mouvements. Mushaandja est également doctorant au Centre d’Etudes sur le Théâtre, la Danse et le Spectacle de l’Université du Cap, où il étudie la praxis queer dans les archives Oudano. Son récent spectacle, Dance of the Rubber Tree, est une intervention queer critique et interdisciplinaire dans des musées, des théâtres et des archives en Allemagne, en Suisse, en Afrique du Sud et en Namibie. Il participe également de temps à autre à des projets curatifs, tels que le John Muafangejo Season (2016/2017), Odalate Naiteke Operation (2018) et le festival Owela (2019).

 

Nashilongweshipwe Mushaandja is a performer, educator and writer with practice and research interests in embodied and spatial archives in movement formation. Mushaandja is also a PhD artist at the Centre for Theatre, Dance and Performance Studies at the University of Cape Town studying Queer Praxis in Oudano Archives. His recent performance Dance of the Rubber Tree is a cross-disciplinary critical queer intervention in museums, theatres and archives in Germany, Switzerland, South Africa and Namibia. He is also involved in curative projects from time to time, such as the John Muafangejo Season (2016/2017), Operation Odalate Naiteke (2018) and Owela Festival (2019).
