Malang SONKO est né un acteur sénégalais originaire de Casamance.C’est par le biais de la compagnie théâtrale Buusaana de Zinguinchor qu’il fera la connaissance de Caroline TIRANOWICZ qui lui enseigne les bases du théâtre professionnel. En 2011, il intègre l’association Sénégalaise (FOTTI Cultures), du comédien et metteur en scène feu Younouss DIALLO. A travers cette formation, il côtoie durant trois ans, plusieurs pédagogues et metteurs en scènes comme : Dorcy RUGAMBA, Younouss DIALLO, Fabrice MURGIA, Agnès LIMBOS, Axel DE BOOSERE, Pietro VARASSO, Karine PONTIES, pour ne citer que ceux -là. En 2019, il obtient une bourse de stagiaire pour intégrer le conservatoire royal de Liège en Belgique où il est invité à participer au projet de jeu intérieur du pédagogue et metteur en scène Mathias SIMON. Dans sa carrière cinématographique, il participe à plusieurs production Sénégalaise et internationale comme : Canal+, TV5 monde, Netflix et A+.
Malang SONKO was born a Senegalese actor from Casamance, and it is through the Buusaana theater company in Zinguinchor that he met Caroline TIRANOWICZ who taught him the basics of professional theater. In 2011, he joins the Senegalese association (FOTTI Cultures), of the late actor and director Younouss DIALLO. Through this training, he rubbed shoulders for three years, with several instructors and directors such as: Dorcy RUGAMBA, Younouss DIALLO, Fabrice MURGIA, Agnes LIMBOS, Axel DE BOOSERE, Pietro VARASSO, Karine PONTIES, to name but a few. In 2019, he was granted a scholarship to join the Royal Conservatory of Liege in Belgium where he was invited to participate in the project of indoor acting by the instructor and director Mathias SIMON. In his film career, he has participated in several Senegalese and international productions such as: Canal+, TV5 monde, Netflix and A+.
