Youssef Taki Miloudi, né à Oujda au Maroc en 1995, est un artiste et un chercheur diplômé en beaux-arts de l’université de Castilla-La Mancha. Il obtient un master en recherche sur les pratiques artistiques et visuelles dans la même université. Son activité artistique est étroitement liée à ses activités de chercheur, il aborde différentes approches thématiques afin d’élargir la compréhension des processus migratoires, des événements coloniaux et post-coloniaux.
Ses travaux les plus récents portent sur l’interprétation, la représentation et l’auto-représentation des corps culturels frontaliers. Il s’agit d’une série de recherches qui croisent la pratique artistique, l’analyse critique du contexte social à l’aide d’outils développés dans le domaine des études coloniales et sa propre situation en tant que migrant vivant en Europe et affecté par les expériences partagées d’autres migrants.
Youssef Taki Miloudi a participé à de nombreuses expositions, conférences et présentations dans toute l’Espagne, dans des institutions et des galeries de premier plan telles que le Musée national d’art Reina Sofía, la Fondation Juan March, la Fondation Antonio Pérez, la Fondation El Dorado et la galerie Nadie Nunca Nada No, entre autres. Il est également l’auteur du livre Fuera de Lugar (Out of place) et a collaboré à divers projets, dont Matria Poética. Une anthologie de poètes migrants qui représente la première collection de poèmes entièrement écrits par des migrants de la diaspora.
Youssef Taki Miloudi, born in Oujda, Morocco in 1995, is an artist and researcher with a degree in fine arts from the University of Castilla-La Mancha. He obtained a master’s degree in research on artistic and visual practices at the same university. His artistic activity is closely linked to his research activities, he approaches different thematic approaches in order to broaden the understanding of migratory processes, colonial and post-colonial events.
His most recent work focuses on the interpretation, representation and self-representation of border cultural bodies. This is a series of research that crosses artistic practice, critical analysis of the social context using tools developed in the field of colonial studies and his own situation as a migrant living in Europe and affected through the shared experiences of other migrants.
Youssef Taki Miloudi has participated in numerous exhibitions, conferences and presentations throughout Spain, in leading institutions and galleries such as the Reina Sofía National Art Museum, the Juan March Foundation, the Antonio Pérez Foundation, the El Dorado and the Nadie Nunca Nada No gallery, among others. He is also the author of the book Fuera de Lugar (Out of place) and has collaborated on various projects, including Matria Poética. An anthology of migrant poets that represents the first collection of poems written entirely by migrants from the diaspora.
