Daouda NDIAYE est un artiste plasticien qui vit et travaille à Dakar. Major de sa promotion à l’Ecole Normale Supérieure d’Education Artistique (ENSEA) de Dakar, il a déjà participé à de nombreuses expositions collectives et individuelles aussi bien au Sénégal qu’à l’étranger. Il est spécialiste en art thérapie et en psychopédagogie à l’Université René Descartes, Paris V et à l’Hôpital Sainte Anne de Paris. Artiste résident au village des Arts de Dakar, il s’appuie sur le plan conceptuel sur les préjugés et souvenirs les plus répandus comme pour ensuite les assimiler et les transcender pour mieux interroger nos apparences sociales. Il est en perpétuel quête d’interaction tenant compte de ses préoccupations de créateur et pédagogue en lien avec sa société. Originaire d’une grande famille de dignitaires lébous et membre de ce peuple marquant de la région de Dakar, il a été élevé par sa grand-mère et a grandi dans un environnement de savoir ancestral où tout est dans la symbolique.

He is a specialist in art therapy and psychopedagogy at the University René Descartes, Paris V and at the Sainte Anne Hospital in Paris. Resident artist at the Village des Arts in Dakar, he relies conceptually on the most widespread prejudices and memories as if to then assimilate and transcend them to better question our social appearances. He is in perpetual quest for interaction taking into account his concerns as a creator and teacher in connection with his society. From a large family of Lebou dignitaries and a member of this pioneering group of people of the Dakar region, he was raised by his grandmother and grew up in an environment of ancestral knowledge where everything is about symbolism.
