June Edmonds est née en 1959 à Los Angeles et a obtenu son MFA de la Tyler School of Art de Philadelphie et son BFA de la San Diego State University. Elle a également fréquenté la Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture et a obtenu un certificat en éducation de l’UCLA.
