Alioune était le responsable de la Galerie du Fleuve de l’Institut français de Saint-Louis depuis plusieurs années, il est un amoureux des arts vivants. Après ses études, il embrasse la carrière de peintre puis d’accompagnateur d’artiste. Il se forge à travers des expériences diverses. De 2003 à 2007, il est le chargé du marketing de la Galerie Mermoz. Ce travail passionnant et enrichissant le mènera à initier un atelier «Door W’art» pour faire éclore le talent de jeunes artistes de sa ville natale. Nostalgique, il lui arrive de reprendre le pinceau pour exercer sa grande passion : les arts plastiques. C’est ainsi qu’il présente en 2012, une exposition à Saint-Louis, dans le cadre du off de la Biennale d’art contemporain (DAK’ART). A titre individuel ou collectif, Alioune a participé à de nombreuses expositions nationales et internationales.
