L’exposition de la Collection de l’État met en valeur le patrimoine national sénégalais et les acquisitions institutionnelles majeures réalisées dans le cadre du Domaine privé artistique de l’État (DPAE), retraçant l’histoire esthétique et politique des arts visuels au Sénégal. Cette exposition, sous le commissariat de l’artiste Kalidou Kassé, est portée par la Direction du Patrimoine culturel, le Secrétariat général de la Biennale de l’Art africain contemporain et la Galerie nationale d’Art.
The State Collection Exhibition showcases Senegal’s national heritage and the major institutional acquisitions made under the State’s Private Artistic Domain (DPAE), tracing the aesthetic and political history of the visual arts in Senegal. Curated by the artist Kalidou Kassé, this exhibition is led by the Directorate of Cultural Heritage, the General Secretariat of the Biennale of Contemporary African Art, and the National Art Gallery.
